Hello! My name is Antonio Valentin and I am a performing artist, collaborator, and piano teacher in New York City. Teaching music to children has always been a passion of mine, and I have taught over 500 students throughout the Northeast, while balancing a career as a concert pianist. As a graduate of the prestigious Eastman School of Music and New York University, my musical journey has given me the opportunity to perform classical music from Tokyo to San Juan, and develop my craft as a musical pedagogue. For the first time ever, I am proud to present my new online course: Piano by Antonio, the future of online piano lessons!

I also use several other method books, including Piano Adventures, Hal Leonard's All-In-One Piano Lessons, Helen Marlais's Success at the Piano, Musical Moments, Piano Pronto, Masterwork Classics, and Will Baily's Way Cool for Kids Piano Series. Method books are available in printed or ebook formats.
About Me
Czechoslovakian-Filipino pianist Antonio Valentin is a performing artist, collaborator, and piano teacher in New York City. He has given concerts in Tokyo, Madrid, San Juan, Washington D.C., New York City, and Philadelphia. A native of the culturally diverse Maryland suburbs, Antonio has built expertise in the styles of Neoclassicism, French Impressionism, Nationalism, and Minimalism under the guidance of his teachers, who have included Marilyn Nonken, Thomas Schumacher, and Donn-Alexandre Feder. Performances include a solo engagement with the Grammy-nominated Eastman Wind Ensemble, a collaboration with Renee Fleming, and a world premiere of Sō Percussion member Jason Treuting's Homage to a Triad. Career highlights include an accompanying position for Towson University’s dance program and an adjunct faculty appointment at New York University. A graduate of the prestigious Eastman School of Music, Antonio is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Music in piano performance at the CUNY Graduate Center.
